[2009.08.12] At the Patchogue Arts Council’s last general meeting August 12 an update was given and it was revealed that the Patchogue Arts Biennial is a GO! The Patchogue Arts Biennial is Long Island’s largest Arts Exhibit of its kind and will be held Oct. 3-24 in 12,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall at Briarcliffe College. The goal of the event is to expand the communities view as to the trends, function and purposes of art in the 21^st century. Sponsorship of the event has been overwhelming with Gold Sponsors like Briarcliffe College and St. Joseph’s College immediately stepping up to make this event happen.
